THROUGH THE COLLEGE DECISION PROCESS...
Over the past 9 months I have been consumed with college research, applications, spreadsheets, obtaining references, writing papers, selecting music, counting bars, making cuts, finding monologues, taking private lessons, learning required dance combinations, recording submissions, re-recording, then recording from a different angle, editing,
submitting pre-screens, scheduling auditions, lots of emails, callbacks, braving the Arctic Vortex, flying, lots of flying, driving,driving lots of miles, Lyfting, hailing taxi's, navigating, Unifieds in NYC and Chicago, SETC's, on-site college visits coast to coast, meeting professors and faculty, going from Lyft to the bus to the train, taking chances, arriving early, unexpected delays, barely making it, packing and unpacking, LOTS of packing, scheduling, adapting and sometimes just wingin'-it!
Whew!
If I had known then, what I know now, would I have thrown myself into this process?
It's crazy, but YES, indeed!
This path is not for everyone! INFACT It's intended for those who are "ALL IN"and have the drive to succeed though undeniable obstacles. It's been an unpredictable, unbelievably, exciting and stressful time. As difficult as it has been, I believe it has made me an even stronger, more passionate, independent, creative individual.
I'm excited to a path in this world. Break as many legs as possible (and then go back and break more than anyone ever thought was possible)!
